I would get a Cold Steel Shot 130 before this for plinking in the yard you can get there bolts req'd but the 15' carbons can be had 12 for $30 if you went with lower limb weight say Ravin R9 you have to get the 6.5' carbons or make your own due to noc design, but self cocking is awesome string life so much better. If you buy this or other cheaper crossbows buy lots of strings, not so easy to find them either but this thing chews through center servings like nothing.
